This exhibition features older sculptures and new photograms that reference and re-create actual spaces, depicting the fractured way we see and interpret our world.

Installation artist, sculptor and painter LeMieux creates a new series of work referencing the collision of cultures between birds and humans. LeMieux reflects on the BP oil spill and the broader ecological degradation that has unfolded over the course of his lifetime.

Jason Lazarus’ work address ways in which memory and memorialization are communicated through the photographic image. In his Heinecken Studies, Lazarus created a series of color photograms using a portion of the cremated remains of the late conceptual artist Robert Heinecken.

This landmark exhibition brings two seminal yet under-studied Los Angeles artists into close conversation for the very first time.

Armory Center for the Arts and One Colorado present Los Angeles artist David P. Earle as the Artist-in-Residence for The Artist Studio at One Colorado. The Artist Studio is an interactive artist space in which the public is invited to share in the creative process. Visitors are invited to participate in group building projects using handmade Birchwood puzzles that Earle will create on-site throughout the residency.

This exhibition by Kelly Marie Martin features black-and-white photographic portraits, taken with a 4x5 camera, of riders in her “bicipandilla,” or bicycle gang, with their bikes.

The exhibition features three recent videos: Over the Rainbow, a single-channel loop of vehicles endlessly crossing multiple highway overpasses, an engineering impossibility; Flight Patterns, a two-channel image, one of a flock of seagulls and the other of a set of commercial planes, clones that mimic the other; and 28 years in the implicate order, a single channel work in which dozens of balls bounce, each to its own rhythm which at one moment, converges in a single bounce

This exhibition will include two new series of airbrushed paintings by artist Roni Feldman. Shadowlighter will feature both a selection of black on black paintings, as well as white on white ultraviolet reactive Albedo Paintings to be exhibited under black light.

Thai-born, Los Angeles-based artist Nuttaphol Ma combines elements of Greek myth, Western operatic form, and European weaving to create a maze-like installation based on a story of migration and survival in his installation Ruins of Daedalus' Labyrinth.
