Armory Events

Inspired by Dominique Moody's practice of transforming found and everyday materials into vessels for memory and storytelling, this intergenerational workshop invites participants to reimagine the meaning of home through artmaking. Led by Moody alongside Armory teaching artists, participants will transform shoeboxes into miniature representations of home using collage, recycled materials, and found objects. Through hands-on exploration and creative expression, the workshop encourages reflection on memory, belonging, and the places and experiences that shape our sense of home.
