Join Phillip Harper of Collective in Residence, Here Lay A Home, for an evening of sonic exploration with the activation of Ghost Radio Altar. Harper’s installation Signal Shrine layers field recordings, community interviews, instruments, the human voice, and archival sounds collected during Here Lay A Home’s initial participatory installation. The activation of the piece positions sound as both vessel and altar, inviting deep listening as a practice of grief, memory, and care. Centering the Eaton Fires of Altadena, it asks: What does it sound like to rebuild after loss? The work creates a listening space where notes of community, mourning, and resilience resonate across past and present. This event is free. RSVPs are appreciated
