With generous support from the City of Los Angeles Department of Cultural Affairs, the Armory partnered with Proyecto Pastoral, Public Works, and the Art for Incarcerated Youth Network to present art making classes for kids and teens in Los Angeles City Council District 14 neighborhoods of Lincoln Heights and Boyle Heights. From summer 2018 through spring 2019, nearly 500 young people developed their creative voices in 18 Armory Teaching Artist-led art courses at LearningWorks @ Homeboy Industries, Aliso Pico Recreation Center, Benjamin Franklin Branch Library, and Central Juvenile Hall.
