We are pleased to announce the opening of our Creative Comfort & Care Room at the Armory at The Gale Kohl Center for Creativity in Old Pasadena. Co-hosted by our friends at Gale’s Restaurant, we invite you and any members of the community to stop by the Armory for a hot cup of tea or coffee, fruit and snacks, art-making activities for all ages, and a place to find community or rest for a few moments.
The Creative Care Room is open this week from Tuesday, January 21, through Friday, January 24, from 12 to 5:30 PM. Children ages 12 and under must be accompanied by an adult. We hope to see you soon.
Lisa Watts, Armory Teaching Artists, will get us started this week by leading an art-making activity from 12-3 pm on Tuesday, January 21, 2025. From 3-5:30 the creative activities will be self-led. Studio parents are welcome to hang out in the room or, if they prefer, can go upstairs to the Visitor's lounge.
