Dance for Love, Dance for Peace
The weekend of June 22, 2020, we saw the virtual return of the Pasadena Chalk Festival, the largest event of its kind according to the Guinness Book of Records. In this pandemic year, artists created stunning murals in safe public spaces and shared them on social media. One such space was Electric Alley behind the Armory building where artist Daniel Williams created "Dance for Love, Dance for Peace." Daniel thrives in our "Artful Solutions" program for adults and families struggling with homelessness and housing insecurity. We were happy to support Daniel's work. Much thanks to Light Bringer Project for their continued production and management of this very special event.
