Winter 2026 artWORKS Classes

A collaboration between Armory Center for the Arts and Learning Works Charter School, artWORKS encourages young people from different backgrounds to express themselves through a combination of media arts and fine arts. All artWORKS after-school classes are free for all students in grades 5-12. Registration is required.

Classes are held in person at artWORKS at 2817 E. Foothill, Pasadena, CA 91107

Music with Grace

Mondays
January 19 - March 23 (no class MLK Day and President's Day)
4:30 - 6 PM

This class is a time for discovery, creation, and curiosity. Anything goes, and no question is invalid. Come by for a judgment-free zone with fellow creatives. We will learn about whatever is in demand: making beats, vocal lessons, piano lessons, how to write a song and much more!

Have you ever wondered how t-shirts are printed? Learn screen printing including its history and the artists. Learn new, easy techniques for printing your own t-shirts, art prints, tote bags, and whatever else you can think of to print on.

Learn techniques to create one-of-a-kind artwork that reflects your unique style. In a creative, safe, and legal environment, you’ll use spray paint to explore stencils, sticker art, and mural design.
