We Belong: Art from the City of Pasadena Adaptive Art Program

"Do I belong?" can be asked on many levels and ultimately affects everyone in a community. While the theme of "separation" continues to be pervasive in politics and media, adult artists from Pasadena's Adaptive Art Program have skillfully deconstructed the idea of "inclusion" and proudly present a collaboration of artworks which focus on the idea of belonging. Themes of friendship and belonging are skillfully depicted in these artworks that feature acts of kindness, caring, and inclusion. Using striking color and bold lines, these Pasadena artists declare... We Belong!

The Armory is honored once again to host the City's Adaptive Art Program's annual exhibition in our Community Room. Please join us for an opening reception with the artists on Saturday, July 22, from 3-5pm. The Armory’s Community Room is open Tuesdays through Sundays, 12 to 5pm. Admission is always free.
