Summer Studio 2017

Teens 15-18 • S.2 (7/31-8/23)

The Armory’s Art High programs give teens valuable, hands-on, creative experiences. In addition to Art High classes here at the Armory, these opportunities include classes with partner organizations, and classes at Armory satellite facilities. With approval, teens 16+ may take certain Armory adult classes. Students work with professional, multi-disciplinary artists who bring their expertise into the classroom. Instruction is concentrated in two areas: visual arts and media arts.

Armory Art High studio classes for 15-18 year olds are tuition-free during the school year. Art High programming is underwritten, in part, by gifts from individual donors and by government, corporate, and private foundation grants.

Enrollment is on a first-come, first-served basis. There is a nonrefundable $50 registration fee per class. Students must be 15 years old by the first day of class.

Limited to 12 students, classes allow for individualized instruction.
Photography classes limited to 10.
