Spring Studio 2017
The Armory’s Art High programs give teens valuable, hands-on, creative experiences. In addition to Art High classes here at the Armory, these opportunities include classes with partner organizations, classes at Armory satellite facilities, and select Armory Adult classes (see below). Students work with professional, multi-disciplinary artists who bring their expertise into the classroom. Instruction is concentrated in two areas: visual arts and media arts. Limited to 12 students, classes allow for individualized instruction.
Armory Art High studio classes are tuition-free during the school year. Art High programming is underwritten, in part, by gifts from individual donors and by government, corporate, and private foundation grant awards.
Enrollment is on a first-come, first-served basis. There is a nonrefundable $50 registration fee per class. Students must be 15 years old by the first day of class.
