Paid Summer Internships at the Armory
Getty Multicultural Undergraduate Internships
The Armory is seeking one paid intern for our Communications Department and one paid intern for our Exhibitions Department. Both are made possible by the Getty Foundation's Multicultural Undergraduate Internship program. These Internships are intended for members of groups underrepresented in professions related to museums and the visual arts: including, but not limited to, individuals of African American, Asian, Latino/Hispanic, Native American, and Pacific Islander descent. Candidates must be a currently-enrolled undergraduate and have completed at least one semester of college by June 2017 (Spring 2017 graduates may also apply). Candidates must either be a resident of Los Angeles County, or currently attend college in Los Angeles County.

Studio Department Summer Intern
Each summer, the Armory offers more than 250 classes in a variety of media, for all levels of ability, for children ages 3-11, youth ages 12-18, and adults. All classes are taught by the Armory’s faculty of professional artists. Under the guidance of the Manager of Studio Programs, Grace Lacques, the Studio Intern will assist with the daily implementation of this diverse and fast paced summer art program. The ideal candidate is currently enrolled in an undergraduate college program studying fine art, early childhood education, or a related field. Candidates with experience in customer service, childcare and working in educational settings are encouraged to apply.
